Sorry, I have been neglecting my poor little blog! I plan to post the pictures of the Mikes Maternity shoot this week. So, look forward to those!
Also, I am going to do a few minor tweeks and updates to my website and portfolio.
I have gotten off track a bit since the Holidays and plan to start getting back on track this week. A lot of soul searching and big decisions to make have been distracting me. I am hoping I can move forward now! Hopefully you will all bare with me!
I will be trying to post more in the next few days to catch up with everything….until then….
Have a great week!
Well, it is now officially vacation time for me. I have a few loose ends to tie up and then tomorrow we head to Houston for the weekend to spend Christmas with my family. Then next weekend we will be off to San Antonio to spend New Years with Travis’s family.
Tonight we are going to Outback for a little Christmas Dinner for me & Trav and then maybe doing a little drive around the neighborhoods to look at Christmas lights!
We were suppose to open our gifts tonight too, but as usual, we just couldn’t wait to open them! So, as soon as we got done shopping and wrapping them Monday night, we opened them immediately!
I got my much wanted tea kettle that whistles and we used it that night! Lately in the evenings, we got in the habit of drinking a cup of decaf coffee or hot teas. Great way to top off a day and relax you. My favorite is mint tea. It just gives you a refreshing feeling!
For an update on the Cans for Comments, I am a little sad that I didn’t meet my goal of 50 cans…only a measly 16 (I am going to round it up to an even 20)…but, I guess that is better than nothing for those families in need! Thank you everyone who participated! I am going to go get the cans this week or next and drop them off at the food bank. I will post a picture of the cans for all those who participated. I plan to do this next year too! So, those who commented this year, don’t for get to do the same next year and pass the word on.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and New Years!

So, since it was so cold the day we did the family photos, we had to continue the photo-session the following weekend. Here are some of my favorites from their tutu and skull session!

I tried out a new location, the Dallas Arboretum, and it was very beautiful. I plan to do more photo sessions there. I was a little worried about this shoot because it was so cold. Thank you Nicole and Cody for hanging in there with the little ones!

This little one was so full of energy the whole time, and she did not want to sit still to take a picture! But, I think these action shots really worked out!
