Something I offer to my clients that most photographers don’t is being able to choose where you get your prints. While I do offer to do prints for my clients, I still send them a disc of all their images and a print release letter.
Why do I do this? Because I know that not everyone can afford expensive prints and I don’t want to limit my clients.
What would I do, if it where me? I would probably buy the prints from the photographer (this is assuming that I wasn’t a professional photographer myself).![]()
Why? Isn’t it more expensive? Yes, it is more expensive. But, as they say, you pay for what you get. Instead of me trying to explain the difference between purchasing them from your photographer or getting them from your local pharmacy store or supermarket….this photographer could not have said it better. She is a photographer that I admire, along with many others, and explained it perfectly. Click here to read her blog on prints, proofs, digital negatives and more!
